This blog promotes active healthy aging, based on simple approaches to mastering body-awareness. We all face the challenges of aging, eventually. The body movement skills you will need, to continue an active life, can be improved. It’s never too late. With a little body-awareness training. That’s what I had to do for myself, in order to continue Ironman training in my 60s and 70s, and to overcome the challenges of aortic surgery, in 2010 and 2013.

Never give up!

Wishing you happy trails,

Fix Your Plantar Fasciitis By Understanding It!

I’ve been a researcher all my life!

Five years and two ebooks later, a third in the writing, and I’m still studying so-called plantar fasciitis. It’s all on my blog, or in those books. In it’s early stages, this condition is neither fasciitis (inflammatory) in nature, nor plantar (sole of the foot) in location.

Develop Your Optimal Movement Skills For Active Healthy Aging

Loss of mobility is one of the toughest challenges of aging.

This can be due to disease or accident.

More often it results from a life-time of poor movement habits.

This ebook-based training program, is derived from years of personal experience of body movement work and athletics. The narrative is linked to multiple instructional YouTube videos.

I went vegan on August 4th, 2015. It surprised me, as much as it did my family and friends. What a journey, but I’ve never looked back. As the result of a consultancy, I found that I couldn’t work to save rats and mice, while eating pigs and chickens.

Plus it helped my prostate, a lot, OLD GUYS!

This is where it all began, and my life changed, for the better, in spite of it all.

TRUE STORY:

Body-Awareness And Veterinary Medical Training Saved My Life In 2010!

I’m a veterinary pathologist, research scientist, and vegan Ironman-distance triathlete, with an abdominal aortic aneurysm stent graft. My blog, related ebooks and YouTube Videos, provide safe exercise and healthy aging advice, for those dealing with aortic disease and other health challenges. This work is based on a life-time of biological research, and extensive body-awareness training, from martial arts to Feldenkrais. I do not want to age gracefully. I intend to live fully, with whatever means I have at my disposal, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. I also work to save animals and people from factory farming. Wishing you happy trails.
