Signed Up For the 2024 North Carolina Ironman 70.3, To Keep My Training On Track

It’s 7:07 a.m. on a lovely North Carolina spring morning, listening to the cicadas.

Just walked Gunbi, our new puppy who is tearing up the house. Great little dog.

Now, I’m back in the kitchen writing this short blog post.

We all differ with respect to what motivates us for our training. For me, it’s an impending race. I’ll be 81 on race day, can you believe it?

I don’t believe it because I feel like a five-year old in an old body.

Ironman saves my life and keeps me going.

Keep moving, whatever you do, for a long, happy life.

Go for it Kev. We’re rooting for you.

  2. Thanks Bill. I now do it in large part to support people with PAD. Then it’s not all about me, which I think is healthier. Of course, I enjoy the training. -kev
